I was just reading in the LA Times that Mexican cartels are also involved in growing pot inside the US in Santa Barbara county (I don’t know where else). So, just because it’s grown in the US doesn’t mean that it isn’t connected to Mexican cartels. I’m sure you know where your pot comes from, but there must be some people in California who don’t. Anyway, we need to legalize it to get the cartels out of the pot business.

I personally don’t agree with smoking marijuana. I agree with the science that it, like alcohol, inhibits normal thought processes and can become a terrible habit. We already have a huge alcohol problem in the U.S.
